The great houses of Mysthia

The great houses of Mysthia, are the highest ranking houses of the nation. The following pages, describe who and what the houses are, and their ranking in the nation.

What is a great house you might ask. Well that's simple. A great house is a house with considerable political influence, and subsequently strength.  Each of the great houses produces a single unique military Unit. And is only associated with that house. Within the pages of each house is a description of  unique unit/class of character. You must be of the house, and have permission of the RC's and head of House to portray such a unit. As most units must comply with a strict level of protocol, rules, and act in a certain manner. As most Unique units, have  special abilities, that sets them apart from the rest of the usual classes. This does not mean that they are all powerful, It means that they are an elite force that sets them apart from  the usual run of the mill character class. And as such are carefully run to maintain balance in the room. Should a person be seen to abuse the powers and abilities as one of the unique classes, that person will be striped of their abilities, and may even face banning from the room. As we WILL NOT TOLERATE GOD MODERS FOR ANY REASON.

If you are interested in creating a unique great house, you are required to get permission from the RC's, and further information on the requirements for creating a great house. ONE MUST BE of a great house to be on council, if the position is offered. It can be a unique house. Or you can be folded into one of the existing houses. 

ONE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE OF A GREAT HOUSE IN ORDER TO R/P.  Each character and Member is understood to be of a house.  The houses are designed to enhance r/p, and to make Mysthia a living breathing community.
