Society of Swertegon The society of Swertegon or more specifically Argonia, is comprised primarily by humans. It is an Imperial state in which the Emperor William Damark is revered as a god. Well considering he is the only Emperor on record, and since the founding of the Empire several thousand years ago. The society of Argonia is based on a freedom of choice. It exists on a precarious balance of order and chaos. Being that the Imperial house has always emphasized being free to choose for yourself. The law system of Argonia is fairly simple. And only includes those few laws absolutely necessary for any civilized population, to maintain some order, and keep things from ripping itself apart with mindless mayhem. Politics: Politics are fairly simple. The Emperor has absolute power, though he has not exercised law writing power, instead he leaves it up to the elected Parliament. Which is elected into office once every 2 years. Religion: One of the many freedoms of choice, the population enjoys is the choice to worship as one wishes. However the Largest Religious circle on the planet, worships the Nine gods of Swertegon. Or in short simply referred to as "The Nine." The Nine gods ascended into Dietalship after the great War of the Gods. These nine were the only surviving members of the grand host that went forth to do battle with the corrupt old gods of Swertegon, during that war. It also happens to be that these Nine were the original Survivors of the final battle with the Nameless Evil. In which they infiltrated the Dark Lords castle, did battle him in his own throne chambers and defeated him. Thus ending the second War of Darkness.
