System Rules

Alright here are the system rules in short.

1. All characters have a certain amount of strength/energy/chi whatever you wish to call it. It is measurable and finite. Special powers, which amount to any kind of ability outside the range of the Norm for a human being, Will cost a number of points associated with its power level. Character strengths starting out will depend on what tier the character is going to be played in. Either a rank newcomer starting out in life trying to make a name for himself will start with 50 points or so. Or your an established character with a long history, and been around for years, and have developed abilities to take on other planar entities in single combat, and win. May have a starting strength of 2,000 or more. All contingent on RC declarations. Please feel free to offer any character for review by the RC's so that we may designate the char to the proper tier of the storylines. As not everyone wants to play monstrously powerful characters, and not everyone wants to play rank newbies. And hey some of us like to go spelunking for treasure, and have to worry about goblins.. and sometimes its just really fun to decimate a planet in a knock down drag out fight.

2. Usage of abilities beyond the Normal maxim of human capabilities will cost a base 10 points per power level to initiate, plus any other expenditure costs that will be explained within that powers description.

3. Character damage assessments will be handled by the honor system. Please keep in mind the actual strength of your character, when dealing with injuries ect. Your strength point score will be a good indication of how much punishment your character can receive before death. For example if your a stark straight newbie, and you get blasted by a level 8 power. You can pretty much consider yourself out of action. Please also keep in mind. You may not be using "powers beyond a normal human" when your in a straight up fist fight or even a sword duel these cost energy as well. Simple actions such as whacking someone with a sword, or punching that annoying bar keep in the nose, cost 5 points of energy to use. Its halved when the person is under a haste spell. Spell/Chi/Psi. abilities costs still remain the same regardless of hasting or not.

4. All persons involved in the project will maintain as up to date a character record form as possible  within their rooms designated area.

5. And the most important rule of all. You are to have fun.
